The Photograph was taken in Orlando, Florida before the exit 8 going to Disney World. We're driving, we didn't stop. I shot it from behind the windshield. I was so lucky that it came out right and perfect.
I took more shots, as we moved along the road, until we reached our destination.

For me contemporary artist is just like magic, because you can paint anything you want. You can mix different colors of paint, and use it to any directions, styles and shapes according to your own taste of art.

"PARADISE"

My very first masterpiece and i did it for love, just because of being a nature-loving/environmentally friendly individual. I was so amazed since i painted this one, which I named "Paradise."

This is my favorite and my inspiration to go on painting more and more. This painting made me move to go to other level. That i must accept the truth that i'm already an artist. And no matter what, I must be ready to face challenges in my life, unsuccessful or failure.

Every time i finished one painting i felt so happy and alive. And after that, another challenges again coming on my way, but i have to face the truth and be ready again for the next piece.

As an artist i love to share my true feelings and the meaning of my painting. And, why i made this kind of art, because every work matters to me.

Lastly, I want to share to all the people and the entire world that i finished the work!

Note: Being an artist is a profession, and the best among the best is a talent that was given by God to me, so i have to cultivate, otherwise, he will get it back from me.

Lorna graduated from Saint Louis University in the Philippines with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in banking and Finance. She has also taken a basic programming course in Systems Technology Institute (STI) Philippines. She also underwent trainings and schooling in the Philippines, as well as abroad. Lorna and her husband had no formal art training and had never attended any painting classes, other than their art classes in elementary and high school. They taught themselves how to paint and have developed their own styles and techniques.

Lorna had been a very active student, during her school days. She liked joining contests, especially art contests, even winning places in some of them. She had won places in flower making contests, as well as, in cooking contests. She had also helped friends in making art works for their projects and
school assignments during her college days.

Lorna has always been an art enthusiast and a nature-loving/environmentally friendly individual. She likes to collect and turn seemingly worthless items into a unique works of art. She had collected fruit and vegetable seeds of varying sizes and color. She had dried them and put them into long empty bottles, which she displays in their living room. She has decorated their town home with unimaginable and unique art works made from materials such as chocolate wrappers, used stamps, stones, strings, broken beads, and even crab shells. She also knows how to sew and cross stitch, and has even designed some of her own dresses. She likes photography, dancing, singing and playing her flute and piano/organ.

Lorna started painting with her husband, Cyril, in 2010, and has also come up with paintings of her own.

"RICHES OF PEOPLE ON EARTH"

It depicts a man, a woman, precious stones, and oil & gas.
I'm just a human being which is connected into this world created by God. The Lord made me complete without any defects. He completed my senses to know what is right from wrong, that's why i'm affected.

Misunderstanding and disputes are everywhere no contentment at all. So, I put all my efforts together just to come up with another "Obra Maestra" a master piece.

Year 2012, My husband and I went to Michael's department store to buy something for our gallery. When we finished shopping, we moved forward to the cashier to pay. Upon waiting and standing in line with the other customers, Cyril and I were talking, suddenly, a lady behind me was asking if we're doing paintings, and i replied yes. I took the 4G cellphone of Cyril in his hand and showed to the lady our paintings. She said nice and beautiful. Then she showed me also her painting from her cellphone, and i said to her, it's beautiful too. We paid the cashier and then we went out, rushing to go home, to do other painting. We're already outside from Michael's store when i heard someone calling and rushing. A big guy, asking if we can do painting for him, i said yes give me the picture. He replied, check it out in the internet he said. And then he gave us the name, "The Two Sisters On The Terrace by Renoir" he said. He gave his calling card then we part ways.

After few days we gave him a ring and said, we saw it already in the internet. We asked him what to paint, and he replied "The Two Sisters on the Terrace." We painted the "Two Sisters on the Terrace" with pride and confidence. But, we unveiled the background and make it more green to distinguish our own work from the original because, ours is only a version of Renoir's painting.
